HACKERS TROJAN DEFENCE
Defense lawyers introduces "computer did it" defense to acquit suspected hackers. Senator's website used unlicensed software
Senator Orrin Hatch, who this week noted he supports technology that  would destroy the PC's of those who download illegal content, apparently  ran an unlicensed, and therefore illegal, JavaScript menu system on his  own website. According to Wired News, the senator's site uses a  JavaScript menu system developed by Milonic Solutions, a software  company in the UK, who say Hatch was using an illegitimate installation  of their product. "It's an unlicensed copy," said Andy Woolley, who runs  Milonic. "It's very unfortunate for him because of those comments he  made." Irony, how sweet thou art.
